I can play the backups in both players with no lose of fidelity. I have backed up over 20 of the original DVD-Audios I own, as many are out of print.
All the compilations will play in the Oppo. None of the compilations will play in the Samsung. I have two dvd players, an Oppo 980HD, and a Samsung HD841. If you got a watermarked disc copied, what settings did you use? (I bought the Platinum version to try this out on a DVD5). Eliminating CPPM is a totally different thing, and this is what DVDFab HD does. MKB file carries any watermarking information - it does not. The disc clones, no worries there, but as soon as my Denon hits watermark #1 (usually at 30 seconds in) the player goes into STOP mode. I have tried several single layer watermarked discs - all fail.
